The Herndon United Methodist Church Preschool will be hosting a Veterans Day celebration to honor our country’s Veterans. The celebration will take place on Monday, November 11 from 11:45 AM – 12:25 PM in the HUMC Fellowship Hall. All current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces are invited to attend. If you know a Veteran who might be willing to attend, please feel free to share this invitation with him/her. We feel it is important for our Preschoolers to understand the great service the members of the military have provided to our country. We would like to have as many members of the military attend our Celebration as possible. Please help us spread the word and help us to make this special celebration a memorable one for our Preschoolers and Veterans alike. As part of our celebration, we are creating a “Faces of Freedom” slideshow. We would like to include the faces of as many Veterans as we can. Please send pictures of your favorite Veterans (including yourself!) to preschool@herndonumc.org. Hard copies can also be mailed to or dropped off at HUMC Preschool, 701 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170.
