The Gay Agenda

We have witnessed the fast and aggressive moves of "Gay Marriage" movements across the country as of late. This is part of an overall movement that is to legitimize and normalize homosexuality. The attempts have been ongoing for quite some time. We can go all the way back to the early 1970's for the first major victory of the "Gay Agenda". The American Psychiatric Association (APA) removed homosexuality from their list of mental disorders. So is being "gay" genetic of behavioral?

Why is it so important that being "gay" be a genetic issue rather than a behavioral issue? The argument goes that if it is genetic than they are born that way and have no choice how they are. This is an argument to try and make it a civil rights issue. It is the same as being black. After all being black is a genetic issue and has won civil rights, so goes the argument. That all the people that are genetically different should be thought of as normal and accepted as such in society.

The debate has been framed and now only a genetic cause needs to be established and the debate is over. We have witnessed countless testimonials of those that have told us that they have been "gay" as long as they can remember. So this must be proof that it is genetic, right? No, anecdotal stories are not proof by any measurement. We then must show scientific evidence. We have witnessed a few attempts at pointing to scientific research since the 1990's that link sexual orientation to genes, finger length, the brain and even more bizarre connections. None of the research has passed the test of being scientific and is not considered sound in the scientific community. This has not stopped proponents of the "gay agenda" from touting the research and publicizing it as if it is a fact and proof to society.

This anecdotal and fake research evidence has been introduced into the Education System, Corporate America and Television Life and retribution is brought to bear on all that resist or speak out. Those that have not bought into the illogical arguments are to just keep their mouth shut so that those of weaker minds can be indoctrinated.

But why would not all accept the proposition? First the framed debate isn't the standard to be measured by. Being "gay" isn't analogous to being black. Skin color has nothing to do with behavior. "Gay" is a behavior and this seems to be left out of the debate.  Being genetic does not automatically make it a civil rights issue. Pedophiles and polygamists make the same claim as being born that way and if genetics is all that makes things socially acceptable than we must incorporate these groups into society and allow them to marry as well. In fact these groups have more to stand on than "gays". Historically both the polygamists and pedophiles have had social acceptance in past cultures and homosexuality has never been socially accepted in any past culture. In fact marriage in the early teens are still valid in some countries and tribes to this day and just a few years back many U.S. States allowed children to marry. The same goes with polygamy. It still exists in some countries and tribes today and was part of U.S. history not long ago. We haven't even touched on Bestiality as a genetic issue to legitimize but should if the criteria are genetics.

What if it isn't genetic? Can there be behavioral changes to homosexuals? We have anecdotal evidence for this position as well. For some reason those anecdotal stories are not to be accepted into the debate. We also have the only validated research by Dr. Spitzer, who was instrumental in the declassifying of homosexuality as a mental disorder with the APA, which demonstrated that one can change their sexual orientation from homosexual to heterosexual. Because his study does not promote the desired outcome along with Dr. Spitzer being unmercifully attacked there has not been follow up studies. By 2000 the APA did issue a fact sheet that said in part “Currently, there is a renewed interest in searching for biological etiologies for homosexuality. However, to date there are no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biological etiology for homosexuality.”

So is being "Gay" genetic? I don't know. There is more evidence to suggest that being "gays" is not a genetic trait but rather a behavioral trait. If this is so then psychological treatment can be utilized by parents to help alleviate the issue from their children and adults can utilize it to help bring a sense of normalcy and harmony into their lives. If it is genetic then there is hope that parents can have their children tested at birth or even before and someday find a cure through gene therapy. To date no such genetic trait can be found hence no genetic cure and there is huge social pressure not to have parents use Gay Conversion Therapy.

So where do we go from here? Liberals will force their beliefs on the rest of society and we will add two "P"s to the alphabet soup of LGBTQ for Pedophiles and Polygamists and after that "B" for Bestiality. From there the sky is the limit and deviancy is the rule of the day.

If you have hope for a better future I encourage your comments.
