Supporting Joe May in January 21 State Senate Special Election

Our state needs thoughtful and effective leaders who will
put Virginia first, before politics and social issues. Many
politicians do not have the courage to lead effectively on
today’s toughest issues, because of partisan party politics.

Throughout his time in public service, Delegate Joe May has
consistently put results, and what is best for Virginia,
above party politics – particularly in the areas of
transportation and education. He voted for the 2005
education funding legislation, and also for the 2013
transportation funding legislation – both of which help
bring Virginia up to standards in these areas, which are
critical to Virginia’s expanding role as an economic and
technological leader.

At this critical time, with the Senate split evenly between
parties, and with a new administration taking office,
Virginia cannot afford Washington’s partisan politics. More
than ever, Virginia needs leaders whose focus is not
politics, but business. Joe May is guided by principles, and
is not consumed by political ideologies. Joe has an
established reputation for seeking out innovative solutions
to improve the lives of Virginians. Just as important, Joe
is looked up to as a leader who transcends politics and
commands respect across the aisle.

I will be voting for May and the kind of leadership that he
brings in the Special Election for State Senate. Small voter
turnout ensures that every vote is important – so please
lend your support to Joe May, and get out and vote for him
on Tuesday January 21.
