Weekend Planner

This weekend brings art, garage sales and more to Herndon. 

• All weekend - , being held at ArtSpace Herndon, will close on April 29. The show includes creative works in a variety of forms including watercolors, pastels, oil paintings, acrylics and photography. For more times and dates visit our events calendar. 

• Saturday - Garage sale season has started and there will be on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Items will include small appliances, books, clothing, furniture, tools, toys and jewelry. 

• Saturday -  to benefit the school on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. The sale will include clothing, toys and household items. Proceeds from the sale will help purchase a new roof for the school. 

• Saturday -  from 1-3 p.m. at the Herndon Community Center on Saturday. The drive will get people registered so they can vote in the November 2012 elecion. Those who have moved in the last six months should update their voter registration information. 

• Saturday & Sunday - on Saturday between 2-6 p.m. Sandwiches with coleslaw and chips are $8 and dinners with two sides are $12, with 40 percent of the proceeds donated to the Herndon and Reston Relay for Life events.
