Will Wash Dogs....for Charity

Dogtopia of Herndon hosts their Annual K-9 Support Charity Dog Wash. This is a nationwide movement, so get involved and learn how to join the cause.

The founding of Dogtopia's charitable arm, K-9 Support, Inc., was sparked after a hugely successful dog wash fundraiser was held in July 2005 at the original Dogtopia in Tysons Corner. That event raised $9,000 in donations for military dogs and their handlers serving overseas. Funds enabled the shipping of 5,000 lbs of supplies, including cooling pads, protective eye wear, and of course a few treats and frisbees!  The Annual Charity Dog Wash is Dogtopia's largest fundraiser of the year, with Dogtopia locations participating nationwide. This year's wash will take place at Dogtopia of Herndon on Sunday, July 22nd. Dogs will enjoy a refreshing summertime scrub and spritz, with all donations benefiting K-9 Support.

To date, K-9 Support, Inc. has raised over $80,000. Last year the event in Herndon raised almost $3000 in 4 hours, and we want to do even better this year. We need your help! Spread the word and help us make this the strongest year ever for K-9 Support.  Speak with a team member at your nearest Dogtopia for details and to learn how you can join the cause.
