Bradley Farms Haunted House Opens Friday Night

In addition to the haunted house, there's a festival with food, music and game booths—find Patch and get your swag on Saturday afternoon!

Get ready to get scared this weekend!

The humongous Bradley Farms Haunted House is open for three sessions this weekend—Friday night, Saturday afternoon's kid-friendly version, and Saturday night.

But this event is more than just a haunted house, which by the way donates 100 percent of proceeds to Herndon-Reston FISH to benefit emergency assistance for families in need. It's also a full-fledged festival!

Don't worry about getting a little bored while you wait your turn in line to take a stroll through the haunted house, because there's a festival full of entertainment in the parking lot to keep you busy so the time flies.

There will be live musical acts, a hypnotist, concessions, and game booths from local businesses and organizations (including yours truly, Herndon Patch!).

The festival fun is free, whether or not you buy a ticket for the haunted house!

This year's schedule of live musical acts and performers includes:

Friday Night:

6 p.m.: Live DJ
7 p.m.: The Franklin Project (band)
9 p.m.: Marc Hausman's Hypnotic Experience

Saturday Afternoon (Young Kid-Friendly Time):

1 p.m.: Live DJ
3 p.m.: Rhythm Street Dance
4 p.m.: The Great Zucchini

Saturday Night:

6 p.m.: The Muddy Crows (band)
8 p.m.: Live DJ
9 p.m.: Marc Hausman's Hypnotic Experience

Friday and Saturday nights from 6-10 p.m. is super-scary time, recommended for ages 10 and up. Saturday afternoon from 1-5 p.m. is tamed down for the younger kids, recommended for ages 8 and under. Parents should use their discretion as to which version of the haunted house to take their kids to.

Visit the Patch Booth (and Others) and Win Prizes!

Many booths will be outside the haunted house in the festival area with games in which you can win prizes! Buy game tickets for just 25 cents each—all of which also benefits Herndon-Reston FISH—to try you hand.

Come meet Herndon Patch Editor
Jennifer van der Kleut at the Patch booth on Saturday from 1-4 p.m.! Spin the Patch prize wheel and earn great Patch swag!
