The Friends of Runnymede Park will hold its annual meeting next Sunday, March 11, from 7–9 p.m. at ArtSpace Herndon, 750 Center St.
The meeting will begin with a wine and cheese reception and a slide show featuring images of the park taken by Herndon High School photography students. After a brief business meeting and several award presentations local avian expert Carol Hadlock will present a program on the Ruby-throated hummingbird as a pollinator and the adaptations that plants and birds have made to accommodate each other’s needs.
