Fairfax & Loudoun County Blogger MeetUp

Dulles-based interactive marketing and social media boutique Ruiz McPherson Communications will be hosting a MeetUp for local Fairfax & Loudoun County Bloggers. This is a great way to get to know other bloggers in the area, network, brainstorm ideas and learn about upcoming classes.

This local bloggers group serves numerous purposes, including:

--> Creation of a collaborative group of local bloggers for idea exchange and networking

--> Ability to provide localized education and mentorship for area bloggers in the following topics:

* Blogger outreach
* Creating blog "editorial calendars"
* Generating advertising revenue from a blog
* Maximizing WordPress, Blogger and other blogging platforms
* Attracting more readers and subscribers

--> Establish genuine relationships with hyper-local bloggers that may be interested in participating in future outreach events

This meetup is presently scheduled for Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 5:30 pm -- 7:30 pm. A $10 fee is required to attend and includes light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres.
