Youth Arts Open House

Young people are invited to come create art with residents of The Artory. Teachers from Dodgeball Theatre Company, Groundworks Dance Company, Jhanak Dance Academy, Brihadisha Indian Classical Dance and random@rtisan studio will lead fun introductory  classes in acting, improvisation, hip hop dance, Indian dance and 3D assemblage. 

11:00 - 11:30 - Introduction to Classical Indian Dance with Brihadisha
11:30 - 12:00 - Indian Dance with Jhanak Dance Academy
12:00 - 12:30 - Improv with Dodgeball Theatre (ages 8 to 12)
12:30 - 1:00 - Hip Hop with Groundworks Dance (ages 5 to 9)
1:00 - 1:30 - Hip Hop with Groundworks Dance (ages 10 and up)
1:30 - 2:00 - Acting Fun and Games with Dodgeball Theatre (ages 5 and up)

Visual arts with Marco from 11am to 2pm - use found objects, wire and wood to create a 3D assemblage to take home.
