Parenting Strategies for Toddler Tantrums: MOMS Club of Herndon November meeting

The MOMS Club® of Herndon is proud to host guest speaker, Karla Fife, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), who will present a Parenting Strategies talk on Thursday, November 21 from 10 am – Noon at Trinity Presbyterian Church (615 Dranesville Rd, Herndon, VA 20170). Ms. Fife will discuss tactics for handling toddler tantrums and other basic strategies for dealing with the trials and tribulations of toddlerhood.
 
Ms. Fife received a Masters in Social Work, with a concentration in health, mental health and disabilities, from Columbia University’s advanced standing program. She earned a B.S. in social work from George Mason University, where she was honored with the Outstanding Graduate Award. Ms. Fife’s career includes more than ten years working with children with a range of special needs, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, social skill deficits, and behavioral issues. She’s applied her expertise in public and nonpublic schools, residential services, day treatment programs, home-based therapy, and private practice. Karla is the mother of two and a resident of the Town of Herndon.
