Community Corner

LUNCH FOR THE SOUL THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION (SPANISH)

Since 2006 Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon has provided the day laborers in our community with a hot, nutritious meal and a Spanish worship service every Wednesday at noon.  The pastors from Trinity, Oakbrook Church in Reston, and Riverside Presbyterian in Sterling, VA, provide the spiritual food while teams of volunteers from Trinity and Riverside Presbyterian Church prepare and provide the meals.

Large numbers of volunteers and chefs are needed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and for the Christmas Eve services as the number of guests increase substantially for these events.  Youth and groups can assist by chopping a variety of food and helping with set-up, and assisting with the worship service.  In-kind food donations as well as financial contributions are welcomed.

Feel free to join us as a volunteer and/or guest, Wednesday, November 27th at 11am.  If you are interested or want further information, please email lunch_for_soul_ldr@trinityherndon.org.
