HEN Habitat Heroes - Invasive Plant Removal

We will meet outside the Herndon Fortnightly Library (768 Center Street) and work until 11:30 am or so.

Bring work gloves, tools (shears, loppers, weed wrenches), water, and bug spray. Wear long sleeves/long pants to protect you from poison ivy. Targeted species: English Ivy (Hedera helix), Japanese Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica), Autumn Olive (Eleagnus umbellata).

This event is organized with the support of John Dudzinsky (Herndon Community Forester).
