Great Falls Studios (GFS) Spring Art Show & Sale 2014

AN ARTFUL ANNUAL EVENT MOVES UNDER THE BIG TOP ON THE GREAT
FALLS VILLAGE GREEN.  TWO TENTS, 25
MEMBER ARTSTS.



25 Great Falls Studios member artists – painters in oil acrylic,
watercolor and mixed media, potters, photographers, jewelers, fiber artists, a
weaver and one who works in glass – are participating in the GFS Spring Art
Show & Sale 2014. 



Saturday, May 31/ 9 AM – 5PM and Sunday, June 1/11 AM – 8PM.

Discover and delight in original art, limited edition
prints, note cards, wall hangings, wearable fiber creations, home décor and
more – something quite special for individual collections or a perfect gift for
a friend, hostess, relative or teacher.



This event showcases some of GFS’s widely known artists and
will introduce guests to some new faces and techniques.  Each artist enjoys sharing the story of their
creativity.  Visitors are encouraged to
engage in the, often lively, conversations. Everyone is welcome and the event
is FREE!

On Saturday submit contact information for a drawing that
evening for 4 “art bucks”, $50 gift certificates that can be “spent” on art on
Sunday.  It is not necessary to be
present when winners are announced.



Find the creativity under two big tents on the Village Green
behind the Old Brogue Irish Pub/Katie’s, 760 Walker Rd., GF.



Make it part of a weekend in Great Falls Village.  On Saturday morning arrive early for Katie’s
Cars & Coffee, shop at the Great Falls Community Farmers’ Market.  Wrap up on Sunday with the first Summer
Concert on the Green featuring the Mike Terpak Blues Explosion.  Concert begins at 6PM.  The Spring Art Show & Sale continues
until 8PM.



Established in 2003, Great Falls Studios is a consortium of
more than 100 artists living or working in Great Falls, VA – a unique and
diverse group representing a variety of media, each working in equally unique
studio spaces scattered throughout the back roads of scenic Great Falls.  There are three group studios in town,
too.  GFS manages several exhibit venues
in the community.  And the Virtual
Gallery on the GFS website features monthly themed exhibits that can be visited
