This accessible form of yoga helps you balance an active yoga practice

& lifestyle. Based in the Kripalu tradition of compassionate

self-inquiry, YN takes you through the koshas, or layers of being, to

activate your body’s relaxation response and promote

healing/transformation on all levels—physical, energetic, mental,

emotional & spiritual levels. Studies show that, although the mind

remains conscious during the practice, the levels of relaxation

achievable during YN are deeper than regular sleep.



Each class begins with gentle movement & closes with a reflection to

mindfully re-enter the world. A regular Yoga Nidra practice has been

proven to help alleviate stress, anxiety, insomnia and depression. It

calms the nervous system, promotes a positive outlook, and lifts your

spirits. The visualization & sensory awareness used during YN
