Great Falls Senior Center announces year-end program event

The Great Falls Senior Center is winding up its program year with a seasonal celebration on December 4. In keeping with a theme of "Celebrating and Sharing This Wonderful Season," highlights are a pot-luck luncheon and entertainment by local choral groups.

The Woman's Club of McLean Chorale will kick off a program of seasonal offerings plus Broadway standards and a sing-a-long. Three singers, a comedienne and Iris Reinman, its director and accompanist, will entertain guests.

The award-winning Langley High School Madrigals performs mostly Renaissance music with occasional excursions into other musical style periods. Dr. Mac Lambert, its director, is in his 11th year as director of Choral Activities at Langley.

Guests will have the opportunity to bring their favorite dish--salad, vegetable or dessert--to share with fellow attendees, or to make a modest donation. The Senior Center will supply ham and turkey.

The event will take place at Christ The King Lutheran Church at 10500 Georgetown Pike. The program will place 11:00am to 1:30pm.
