Yoga
is a 5,000-year-old mind/body practice you have to experience in order
to feel the difference it can make in your life. Just one class has been
proven to reduce stress and promote a greater sense of connection and
well-being.
This workshop is intended for people who are brand
new to yoga –or brand new to Dream Yoga Studio—and want to learn more
about yoga before coming to a regular class. Students will learn the
fundamentals of some basic yoga warm-ups and poses that will help
release chronic tension, boost energy, and develop strength in the body.
You’ll discover the therapeutic benefits of yogic breathing and
relaxation/meditation practices, and learn to cultivate inner focus and
clear awareness.
If you're new to yoga, this is the perfect
opportunity to have your questions answered by a skilled instructor,
learn what to expect from regular class, and practice in the company of
