UPDATED: Delegate Candidates Boysko and Rust to Debate in Chamber Forum Monday Night

The forum will take place at the Herndon Council Chambers and will be televised.

With the clock ticking down to election day, Herndon's two candidates for Delegate of the 86th District will appear in a forum hosted by the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce Monday evening.

Participating will be Democratic candidate Jennifer Boysko and Republican incumbent Tom Rust.

The free forum will take place in the Herndon Council Chambers at 765 Lynn St. from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The forum will be televised by HC-TV (Channel 23 on Cox, Channel 28 on Verizon FIOS, both broadcast in Herndon). It will also be live-streamed on www.HCTV.org during the debate, and will be re-broadcast a few times leading up to election day, HC-TV staff members said.

Locals are invited to call in questions for the candidates between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. All questions will be routinely screened. Call 703-689-2328.

Audience members in the Council Chambers who would like to submit a question can write one on a provided index card and pass it in. These questions will also be routinely screened.

In addition, the Chamber will be monitoring Twitter and viewers who would like to submit questions can do so via the hashtag #VADistrict86Debate.
