There is no candidate information....

It looks like the "candidate information" part of the link to the Town of Herndon website just provides information on how to become a candidate. The town website does not have any information about those running. It would help if Patch could at least provide town residents with thumb nail sketches and/or candidate's web sites. Unfortunately, it seems yet again that there is a slate of candidates versus the others on the ballot.

Yep, just like last time, funded by the Democratic Party of Fairfax County. This is a supposedly "non-partisan" election. Why not just end the charade and tell everyone your party affiliation? I had one the "slate candidates" come knocking on my door last year. I already knew this, but he would not come out and tell me who was funding their mailings, or what his party affiliation was. This is completely dishonest and he will never get my vote. I was sure to let everyone I knew in Herndon about this nonsense also. Oh yeah, he was not elected to the Town Council. Thankfully.
