As part of the project, Slivinski, along with South Lakes dance coach Terlene Terry-Todd, designed a pin and T-shirt to sell to support Martin, whose children attended South Lakes.

The performance, directed by Slivinski, was organized when Martin was alive. The show was supposed to be one of several community fundraisers aimed at helping Martin, who had no health insurance, pay for medical costs.
