Snow Expected Overnight

The National Weather Service is predicting between two to five inches of snow

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory beginning at 9 p.m. tonight.

The advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. on Tuesday and is expected to bring a cold mix of rain and sleet, changing over to snow around midnight as temperatures drop. Between two to five inches of snow is expected. The heaviest snowfalls will be between 1-4 a.m.

According to the NWS temperatures are expected to be in the mid-30s this evening dropping to the upper 20s by tomorrow morning. Winds will be northeast at 15 to 25 miles per hour. Travel will likely be difficult and drivers should be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
