— Edwin Barcus Jr., 27, of Georgia, pleaded guilty to running a commercial sex business that included juvenile girls, a number of them from Herndon.

Herndon Police Report: Restaurant Patrons Leave Without Paying Bill — A group of restaurant patrons left without paying their bill at 10:25 p.m. March 3 in the 13000 block of Worldgate Drive. (This was part of our weekly police report; see more Herndon police news here.)

Green Lizard Cycling and Coffee Opens in Downtown Herndon — Green Lizard carries bikes for those who compete and for those simply looking to joy ride. Repair services are available and Hefler Performance Coaching will also be moving into the building. Owners Beth and Dave Meyer have also brought in organic, fair trade coffee and espresso from Kaladi Brothers Coffee.

Mosby's Raid on Downtown Herndon — The Herndon Historical Society and entertained crowds on St. Patrick's Day as a group of re-enactors took over downtown Herndon for the 150th anniversary of Mosby's Herndon Station Raid. (See photos and video here.)

Fairfax County Police Seeking Herndon Area Robbery Suspect — Fairfax County Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating the suspect who robbed the Sunoco gas station in the 13400 block of Coppermine Road in mid-March.
