PHOTOS & VIDEO: 9th Annual Classic Car Show

Clips and photos from this year's AARP Dulles-Wiygul Automotive classic car show

The 9th Annual Classic Car Show was held in downtown Herndon on Sunday. The event was organized by AARP Dulles and sponsored by Wiygul Automotive and many other Herndon businesses.

With a Fab 50s theme the event included lots of swing dancing, 50s music, a roving doo-wop group, a silent auction, 50-50 raffle, car hops in poodle skirts and of course, classic cars. During the event swing dancing and swing dance demonstrations were held by GottaSwing.  The first 100 car entrants received a special dash plaque.

Proceeds from the event go to scholarships for nursing students at George Mason University who are specializing in geriatrics. Last year's event raised more than $4,500 in scholarship money.
