Patch Ranks High Among Key Online Publishers

Company is No. 5 behind Facebook, New York Times.

Patch.com earned a little recognition within the media industry recently with a No. 5 ranking on the 100 Most Important Online Publishers as determined by OMMA, the Magazine of Online Media, Marketing and Advertising.

Herndon Patch is part of Patch, a division of Aol's Huffington Post Media Group. Patch now has about 850 community news websites in 22 states and Washington, D.C.
