Thousands of pounds of trout to be piped into the lake.

Ready for spring fishing? Check out where 1,000 pounds of rainbow and golden trout will be piped into the lake on Feb. 15, March 1, 15 and 29, and April 12, 2013.

Anglers can purchase Lake Fairfax Park Season Trout passes for 2013 at the Main Office. Passes are valid for the entire calendar year. Adult passes (16-64) are $60. A child’s pass (6-15) is $30. Senior passes for those 65 years of age and older are $45.

Fishing regulations require that passes are displayed at all times. A six-fish daily limit per person is enforced, as is one line, one pole per person. A Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF) state issued freshwater fishing license is required for fishermen ages 16 and older. A Virginia state trout stamp is not required.
