Four-Legged Friends Welcome at Herndon Festival K-9 Fun Walk

Fun Walk and Doggie Expo to take place from 9 a.m. to noon June 4

Herndon Festival will be here soon, and there’s a part area residents can enjoy with their four-legged friends.

The K-9 Fun Walk and Doggie Expo will take place Saturday, June 4 at Bready Park, 814 Ferndale Ave., near the Herndon Community Center. The walk starts at 9 a.m. and the Doggie Expo will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

This year’s walk is an extended route that starts and ends at Bready Park. Attendees will walk along the W&OD Trail and on residential sidewalks in Herndon. The course includes a doggie water stop. After the walk dogs can play in the Pool Splash Zone and visit the Doggie Expo.
