Closures on I-495 will impact traffic this weekend.

I-495 North and South will be closed overnight at Route 50 this weekend.

The closures will begin at 9:30 p.m. on Friday and last until 7 a.m. Saturday. Construction crews will be doing bridge work and traffic will be detoured to the collector lane adjacent to I-495 North.

Once work is completed on I-495 North, the construction crews will move to I-495 South and close all lanes at Exit 50 for Route 50 over night from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday to 9 a.m. on Sunday. Traffic will be detoured to the collector lane adjacent to I-495 South.

After midnight, all lanes on I-66 westbound at I-495 will be closed for up to 30 minutes at a time throughout the night. Drivers can expect a one-hour temporary stoppage to occur between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m.
