Renovations Finished on Holiday Inn Express

The Holiday Inn Express on Elden unveils $1 million renovation.

After a two-year renovation, the Holiday Inn Express Reston-Herndon, 485 Elden St., is unveiling $1 million dollar renovation.

The most visible changes are to the exterior of the building, which received and update. Other renovations include the lobby and common area, lanscaping and parking lot beautification. The guest rooms in the hotel also saw upgrades with new furniture, artwork, wall coverings and 32" flat-screen, high-definition televisions.

The hotel is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the renovations on Dec. 12 from 4-6 p.m. Members of the Herndon Town Council, including Mayor Steve DeBenedittis will be in attendance. The hotel was built in 1985 and has become well-known in Herndon as an Elden Street landmark, said Connors in a press release from Holiday Inn. “We have now completed a dramatic renovation of the hotel with an exterior beautification that is simply transformative, and we’re extremely proud of it.”
