No one matched the winning numbers in the Saturday, Aug. 3, Powerball drawing, according to the Illinois Lottery.

The Powerball jackpot has now climbed to $400 million. The cash payout value would be $230.3 million, according to www.powerball.com.

The next drawing is Wednesday, Aug. 7.

The Virginia Lottery is one of 45 lotteries nationwide that participate in the Powerball drawing; Virginia joined the game three years ago.

To win $1 million, you must match the five numbers (but not the Powerball number). Other combinations may win you anywhere from $1 to $10,000—learn more about how to play Powerball here.
