Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar Set to Open in April in Tyson's Corner

Latin American restaurant will feature cuisine inspired by Central America, South America, Cuba and the Latin Caribbean.

Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar, which Patch wrote about in December, is set to open in April. It will be the third location in the Mid-Atlantic and its first in Northern Virginia.

The restaurant is hiring for all positions and is set to begin training in mid-March. The restaurant is also hiring a "pre-opening" team to begin training immediately for key hourly positions. These individuals will then assist with training prior to the opening and start opening day as an experienced Paladar team member.

If you're interested in a position, visit the restaurant at its temporary office at 1934 Old Gallows Road in Vienna from Tuesday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The restaurant owners are looking for experienced servers, hosts, bartenders, line cooks and prep cooks who demonstrate genuine, gracious hospitality, teamwork, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make each and every shift run smoothly.

The restaurant notes in its ad:
* Energetic, fun environment
* Experienced tenured leadership
* Opportunities for advancement with a growing company
* Competitive wages and health insurance for full time employees

The menu will feature freshly prepared guacamole, slow roasted and grilled meats, fresh seafood and homemade salsas. The eatery will include a unique rum bar that offers fresh muddled Mojitos, and more than 50 selections of rum.
