"We have been partnering with the Library Foundation since 2007 by providing funding to purchase financial education genre (or themed) books for students and adults," Rogus said in a press release.

"In today’s economy everyone needs to advocate for self-awareness and our local libraries provide the tools that the citizens of Fairfax county can use to learn about money management tools including preparing a budget, planning for short and long term goals, saving for a home, college or unexpected emergencies," Rogus said. "Both NWFCU Foundation and the Financial Awareness Network, Inc. are committed to financial education and happy to partner with Fairfax Library Foundation."
