Local Herndon Business Wins Two Coveted Awards

It's known by families far and wide as one of the go-to places when you're planning a wedding.

Therefore it's exciting, but not altogether surprising, news that downtown Herndon's Soliloquy Bridal Couture is the recipient of two of the industry's most coveted awards for 2014.

The charming bridal shop was recently named WeddingWire's "Couple's Choice Winner" and The Knot's "Best of Weddings Award."

WeddingWire is one of the nation's leading online wedding marketplaces, and The Knot has long been one of the most popular magazines for brides planning their special days.

WeddingWire's "Couple's Choice Award" is given to the top vendors in 20 categories, recognized for their "excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism."

The Knot's "Best of Weddings 2014" provides a “by brides, for brides” guide to the top wedding professionals across the country, and many consider it a must-have when it comes to selecting the best-of-the-best wedding resources. 

"Whether they’re trying to find the wedding dress salon with the best service, the most creative wedding photographers, the top cake bakers or the hottest reception sites, engaged couples across the country want the inside scoop on the best from real brides."

Naturally, Soliloquy owner and manager Miriam Liggett is thrilled to have her store recognized—but to win both awards in one year is incredibly satisfying, she said.

"We work hard to ensure that our brides receive excellence in customer service, while receiving the highest quality style and construction in bridal fashion," Liggett said. "Just winning one of these awards is great. But to be awarded both is awesome! We couldn't be happier!"
