Papa Murphy's to Hold Grand Opening Event

The take-and-bake pizza chain will offer a special event to include a ribbon cutting by the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, face painting, stick-on tattoos and a prize wheel.

opened at Franklin Farm Village Center in the Herndon area about a month ago and will be celebrating from April 26-29 with a grand opening event. 

The chain opened in 1981 and has more than 1,200 stores in 37 states, making it the fifth biggest pizza company in the country. The grand opening will include a ribbon cutting with the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce on April 27. The event will include a prize wheel, stick-on tattoos for children and face painting. 

"Our pizza is made fresh right before your eyes, before you take it home and bake it in your oven so it's always piping hot when you want it. We're proud to offer high-quality pizzas that are unlike any other, at a value that's unsurpassable," said Gary Mesich, Papa Murphy's franchisee in a press release.

Papa Murphy's, located at 13320 Franklin Farm Rd., is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Franklin Farm Village Center is located at the intersection of Fairfax County Parkway and Franklin Farm Road.
