Northern Virginia business leaders will hear from Gov.-Elect Terry McAuliffe Thursday, when he'll talk about the economy at a Fairfax County Chamber event.

McAuliffe's inauguration is set for Jan. 11, 2014. He spoke to the Virginia Chamber on Nov. 20 in Williamsburg.

The audience at the event, entitled "Moving Into 2014: Economic Outlook" and co-sponsored by the Washington Business Journal, will also hear from keynote speaker Steve Case, co-founder of AOL (Patch's parent company). Case also founded Revolution, an investment firm that has backed more than two dozen companies, including LivingSocial, Zipcar, AddThis, Everyday Health and FedBid.

Case is also Chairman of the Case Foundation, which he established with his wife Jean. The Case Foundation has invested in hundreds of organizations, initiatives and partnerships over the past 15 years.

The event takes place this Thursday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Fairview Park Marriott, 3111 Fairview Park Drive in Fairfax County. Tickets are $100.
