Glory Days Grill Golf Tournament Raises $51K

Glory Days raised a record amount for this year's tournament benefitting Sunshine Foundation.

Glory Days Grill's 25th annual golf tournament raised $51,899 for The Sunshine Foundation and other beneficiaries. 

The tournament, held in October at Piedmont Club in Haymarket, raised a record amount in the history of the event. Of the funds raised, $33,000 will benefit The Sunshine Foundation.

The remaining $18,899 will be divided among a variety of local charities in the Washington, DC and Baltimore areas. Charities include, Jill's House, Secret Passage Ranch, Arundel House of Hope, Walk for the Cure, and Wounded Warriors among others.

The annual golf tournament has raised more than $302,000 over the past eight years. Glory Days Grill has been recognized for its charitable contributions and fundraising efforts, including the 2012 McCormick Cornerstone Award from the Restaurant Association of Maryland.
