Dulles Regional Chamber Seeks Innovators

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its Northern Virginia Innovator Award.

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce is seeking individuals, businesses and organizations that have made innovative strides for its first Northern Virginia Innovator Award.

The awards will be presented at the chamber's upcoming Innovate! conference on Oct. 5 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner.

The awards were created to raise awareness about the importance of continuing to be innovative in products, services and more, as well as to help educate about innovative practices in use throughout the area.

Nominations are being accepted through Sept. 7. Nominations will be reviewed by a screening committee and finalists will advance to a second round to submit further background information and participate in an interview between Sept. 17-28. The winner will be announced at the Innovate! conference.

Any business in the Northern Virginia region is eligible for the award. The innovations need to be directly related to one of the six areas of focus for the conference: commerce, humanity, earth (environmentalism/energy/transportation), technology, military/government, and hospitality.
