Dogtopia Charity Dog Wash Brings Out Furry Friends

Herndon's  held its 8th annual Charity Dog Wash Sunday, and the weather held out so they could get a bath and help raise money. 

Dogtopia raised the money to give back to military service dogs, police dogs and therapy dogs. The first dog wash fundraiser was held in July 2005 at Dogtopia’s original location in Vienna. The goal was to garner support for military dogs and their handlers serving overseas.

Funds raised through Dogtopia's Charity Dog Washes in this are will go to provide equipment and treats for the dogs of Virginia Task Force 1, an international urban search and rescue team.
