Looking for things to do this weekend? Look no further. Here's a variety of things happening around Herndon.

Friday

Disney's Broadway musical comes to the Herndon High School stage Friday night. Be sure to check out the theatre department’s rendition of this family friendly story. Admission is $10 and the doors open at 7:30 p.m.

If you already have plans and need a place to keep your children entertained, the Herndon Community Center is holding another event. This program gives parents an opportunity to go out while their children (ages 5 - 11) participate in gym games, arts, crafts, movies, and more. You must pre-register and it costs $13 per child.

Saturday

The annual of Herndon takes place this Saturday and features five elegant properties. Tickets for the tour are $15 in advance and $20 the day of the tour and available at the Herndon Florist on Lynn Street, and at ArtSpace Herndon on Center Street. 

Saturday night, head to downtown Herndon to see the annual on Elden Street. This free event starts at 5 p.m. and features caroling accompanied by the Herndon High School Band. Plus, tell the kids Santa will be stopping by on a fire engine!

Sunday

Another way to get your children into the holiday spirit is with the at Frying Pan Park. On Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., volunteers will help children shop for everybody on their list. The Country Store stocks many unique items in all price ranges and free wrapping is available. Registration is required.

Continue celebrating the holidays with as they ring in the season with song and dance. The performance starts at 2:00 p.m. and is held at the Industrial Strength Theatre. Tickets are $12 and available at the Herndon Community Center or by calling 703-787-7300. (Additional performances are Dec. 2 & 3 at 7:30 p.m.)
