Friday 

Friday afternoon, Mix 107.3 radio station will have a from Fountain Square at Reston Town Center. The Marines will be on site accepting unwrapped toys and cash donations. If you can’t stop by, drop your unwrapped toys by the skate shop.

Saturday

If you need the afternoon free to do last minute shopping, drop the kids off beginning at 11 a.m. There will be nature crafts, activities, shopping opportunities, and s’mores for roasting. All kids need is a bag lunch. Cost is $20 for Loudoun County residents, $22 for out-of-county.

If you need a break from shopping and a bite to eat, head to the Breeze Restaurant in Herndon. They’re teaming with WMZQ for a to help local beating victim, Ryan Diviney. Proceeds from the silent auction and raffles go to Ryan’s care. There will also be holiday vendors, face painting and more. A percentage of sales at The Breeze will go to the Diviney Family. 

Help keep the homeless warm this season with a home cooked meal. The Dranseville Church of the Brethren and Salvation Army are joining together to and then pass out the meals in Washington, D.C. Cooking starts at 2:30 p.m. and volunteers are still needed.

Sunday

Sunday afternoon, check out the , that includes artwork by members of the Great Falls Studio. It’s featured in the Post Gallery at ArtSpace Herndon. The exhibit is free to view and the gallery is open from 1-5 p.m. Sundays.

Ticonderoga Farms will be dressed with the colors of white, red and green this Sunday for the Winter Christmas Weekend Festival. It includes hayrides to the white pine fields with access to all of winter farm attractions. Admission is $5.95 and the festival runs form 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
