Music Loft Celebrates Summer's End with Jam Camp Concert

The Music Loft, located in Herndon, held it's end of summer Jamp Camp concert on Sunday afternoon, after postponing the concert in late August due to inclement weather. Students got to perform live on the town of Herndon's Municipal Center stage.

The day included performances by the groups:

• Slightly Suggestive — Andrew Warrick, Stephen Readyoff, Noah Mormando, Graham Bishop, Ziomara Medero, and Amaryllis Medero
• Russian Toasters — Christopher Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman, Andrew Douglas, Eric Dempsey, and Madeleine Wright
• After the Fall — Adam Burnette, Wade Burnette, Peter Guglielmino, Robert Guglielmino, Malia Hunt, and Kelly Schuberg
• Faithful Traitors — Reaves Arnold, Gabriel Rincon, and Raul Rincon
• Freetom — Keigh Reutter, Brian Eckenrode, Kevin Ward, David Readyoff, and Bryce Cowett

Laura Readyoff, co-owner of The Music Loft said Jamp Camp offers music students two weeks of instruction, they get to record music in the music school's studio, and culminates in a live performance. She said while many of the participants had already been taking classes at The Music Loft, some students were new.

The concert was originally scheduled for Aug. 25, but had to be moved when Hurricane Irene threatened the area. Readyoff said the town was great about working with the group to reschedule.
