Flint Hollow Band to Perform at Bluegrass Barn Concert Series

Frying Pan Farm Park hosts Bluegrass series.

Herndon's Frying Pan Farm Park is welcoming Flint Hollow Band to the new Bluegrass Barn Concert Series on Sunday, Dec. 16. 

The concert takes place at the visitor center auditorium at 7 p.m. The barn was formerly a dairy barn and church sanctuary. 

Flint Hollow performs both classic bluegrass songs as well as original music. Listeners will hear the sounds of days gone by. They'll also hear a mix of traditional bluegrass and contemporary sounds.

Tickets for the concert are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. They can be purchased online with a Parktakes membership number by clicking here. They can also be purchased by calling 703-222-4664. 

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and showtime is at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Previous performances in the series include David Petersen and 1946, Appalacian Flyer and the Patuxent Partners. The series continues every other Sunday through April 13.
