Open House at Historic Civil War Merrybrook

Merrybrook, added to the National Historic Registry in 2007, was once the home of local Civil War heroine, Laura Ratcliffe, known for her valuable work for Col. John Mosby and Gen. J.E.B. Stuart early in the war.

A 10 minute preview of "Mosby's Combat Operations in Fairfax County will be shown by producers Don Hakenson, Chuck Mauro, and Steve Sherman.

Del. Tom Rust will be the keynote speaker at historic Merrybrook's Open House on Sunday, Oct. 3, at 2 p.m.
