K-9 Fun Walk and Doggie Expo - 31st Annual Herndon Festival

A K-9 Fun Walk & Doggie Expo will be held as part of the Herndon Festival on Saturday, June 4, at Bready Park,  near the Herndon Community Center.

The walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the Doggie Expo will run from 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Bark 'N Bubbles and All Friends Pet Care are the coordinators and Title Sponsors of the K-9 Fun Walk & Doggie Expo.

The first 100 participants who register will receive a goodie bag and special gift!

This year the walk has an extended route that will be approximately 4K or less. The dog walk will begin and end at Bready Park, 814 Ferndale Avenue next to the Herndon Community Center and travel along the W&OD trail and the residential sidewalks in Herndon.

For safety and the respect of private property, dogs must stay on sidewalks throughout the walk. There will be  "doggie" water stops along the course. After the walk, your dog can splash around in the Pool Splash Zone and you can spend some time visiting our Doggie Expo, featuring many pet themed vendors. The Doggie Expo will be held on the softball field at Bready Park.

The entry fee is $15 before May 30 and $20 from May 31 – June 4. There is a $10 fee for each additional dog from the same household.
