Herndon HS 100th Anniversary Band Concert

Herndon High School Band celebrates its 100th anniversary with a concert that includes HHS band alumni, past band directors and current band members. The songs for the concert include one song from each decade of the past 100 years; and it includes the debut of a fanfare commissioned by the HHS Band Parents Association entitled "Metal", by Brian Balmages (a well-respected contemporary composer). The Herndon High School band (also know as the "Pride of Herndon") is an award-winning band whose reputation for excellence is recognized far beyond the northern Virginia area and the mid-Atlantic region.
