Entries Being Accepted for 2014 Herndon Calendar Photography Competition

The Town of Herndon is seeking great photos taken throughout the town for its 2014 Herndon Calendar Photography Competition. 

Entries are now being accepted by both professional and amateur photographers 16 and older for the third annual competition.

The subject of all entries must be located within the limits of the Town of Herndon, and special consideration will be given to entries that include seasonal or community events. 

Photos submitted to the competition will be judged by a select panel of jurors and finalists will be invited to exhibit their work at ArtSpace Herndon from July 9 through August 4. A reception will be held from 7-9 p.m. July 27.  

The Town of Herndon will chose a number of photographs from the finalists to be published in the 2014 Calendar and Town Services Guide. Additionally, photographs will be eligible to receive the "People's Choice Award."  

The Herndon Calendar Photography Competition is presented by ArtSpace Herndon and the Council for the Arts of Herndon.
