Elden Street Players Receives 22 WATCH Award Nominations

The annual nominations event for the Washington Area Theatre Community Honors Awards was held Sunday, Jan. 15 with Herndon's Elden Street Players taking 22 nominations. 

In 2011, there were 127 productions considered for the awards, including 40 musicals and 87 plays. Thirty-two community theater companies participated in the WATCH adjudication, including the Reston Community Players, which received 15 WATCH nominations. 

The awards ceremony will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. at The Birchmere in Alexandria. Tickets are $15.50. A full list of Elden Street Players' nominations is below.
