Elden Street Players' 'Ain't Misbehavin'' Opens Friday

The musical celebrates Thomas "Fats" Waller and the stride piano sounds he made popular.

For those who love jazz, and for those who simply love music of all types, Elden Street Players’ “Ain’t Misbehavin’” will be one to see.

Opening Friday, July 29 at in Herndon, the show encompasses the works of Thomas “Fats” Waller, but is also a bit biographical of the life he led. The show is full of music from the swinging ‘30s, and also offers humor and energy.

“Ain’t Misbehavin’” is directed by Richelle “Rikki” Howie, with musical direction by J. Michael Eric d’Haviland. The show is based on an idea by Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby, Jr.Tickets are $22 for adults and $19 for students and seniors.
