At Home in Herndon Photo Competition Honors Local Photographers

Sandra Blake honored with People's Choice Award for her photo, Springtime on Spring Street.

Amateur and professional photographers alike gathered at on Saturday night to hear who would get their photos published in the 2013 At Home in Herndon Town Calendar.

The photos depict scenes from Herndon throughout the year, at the Herndon Centennial Golf Course, in Herndon neighborhoods, Herndon businesses and important Herndon events like Herndon Festival. Anyone was able to submit their work for consideration.

Jurors for the competition and exhibit who chose the photos that will appear in the Town of Herndon calendar were professional photographers Wayne Zink and Sarah Burton. The judges had no idea who took each photograph, and judged on the photographs only.
