Earlier this month Floris Elementary School held Night of Notables where students portrayed important individuals in history

Earlier this month Floris Elementary School students became high-profile individuals at Night of Notables.

At the event students become a notable person, learning about them, dressing as them and creating scrap books and other presentations about the person they become.

The program began 16 years ago in Australia and helps students become independent learners. Through the program students learn to apply advanced research skills, do analytical writing, think critically and learn about notable people.
