UPDATE: No Road Closures for Tonight's Clinton Visit

Though, you can expect the area to be quite busy.

According to police and school officials, there will be no official road closures for tonight's visit to Herndon Middle School by former president Bill Clinton.

Clinton will be appearing in support Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and the doors will open to the public at 5 p.m.

While some traffic and congestion can be expected in the area surrounding the school this evening, police said there will be no road closures or detours.

Over the weekend, campaign officials made free tickets available online through McAuliffe's website, but entry will still be granted on a first-come, first-served basis to those with tickets.
