These Herndon Residents Are Really, Really Good Neighbors
And they were recognized by the Mayor and Town Council for it this week.
This past Tuesday, the Herndon Town Council and Mayor Lisa Merkel presented the annual Good Neighbor Awards.
This year's recipients were Dr. Soo and Jung Kang, and Mike and Carol Fleming.
Anne Curtis, Town of Herndon spokesperson, said the Kangs and the Flemings "were nominated by town citizens for their kindness and neighborliness."
Mayor Merkel and members of the Town Council presented the Kangs and the Flemings with plaques and certificates at the Nov. 26 meeting.
The annual Good Neighbor Awards are hosted by the town's Cultivating Community committee.
